Welcome to The Expanse Podcast Double Take. This is where I give you my first impressions right after seeing the season 1 episode titled “The Big Empty” for the first time. I’m creating these short posts to encourage listener feedback by asking questions about the episode.

This week’s question are…

1) What will happen to the 5 Canterbury survivors now that Mars has them?

2) Will there be any ramifications because the Belter killed himself on the way to Luna?

3) Miller knows Julie Mao is no longer on Ceres station, so why is he still pursuing her?

I’d like to thank everyone who has subscribed to this podcast and encourage you to join the discussion by sending in your feedback by calling +1-805-910-7656 or by e-mailing me at or visiting the website at If you are enjoying this podcast please consider leaving me a review in iTunes.

  1. I discovered the book from Isaac Aurthur’s youtube channel about theoretical science. He mentioned it because of it’s depictions about living in outer space. So i got the audio book and started reasding/listening.

I wanted to see if anyone had illustrated some of the ships or space stations and googled it. To my surprise, there was an entire TV show based on it and it was in its third season!

I got hooked while streaming the first two seasons (reading the books at the same time) and paid for the third season on Amazon.

I’m a big fan. It’s rare that i watch something and don’t have issues with it. this show is that good.
