Welcome to this Double Take episode of The Warrant Is All – The Killjoys Podcast. These are my first impressions right after seeing the season 2 episode of Killjoys titled “I Love Lucy”. I’m creating these short posts to encourage listener feedback by asking questions about the episode.

This week’s Feedback deadline is Monday at 9am EST.

My questions for this week’s questions are…

1) Is there any significance to the hairpin?

2) Have we met whoever attacked San’s homeworld?

3) What happened to Sabine?

Send me your thought about these questions or any other part of this latest episode of Killjoys.

I’d like to thank everyone who has subscribed to this podcast and encourage you to join the discussion by sending in your feedback by calling +1-805-910-7656 or by e-mailing me at feedback@solotalkmedia.com.

  1. Hi Mark,

Elisa here (EE-LEE-SA). First off I want to congratulate you on your coverage of The Expanse. I just finished Season 1 and I could NOT have gotten through the TV show without listening to your podcast after each episode. Now I am reading book 1, Leviathan Wakes and really enjoying the details and backstories.

This was a very good episode. The history of the green elixir, it’s power and destructive potential is so very interesting.

    Here’s my double take answers:

    1) The hairpin has to have some sort of significance. Perhaps it is a way for Dutch to contact Romwell or maybe it could help minimize the effect of the green goo? I am not certain.

    2) I think the people who attached San’s home world could possibly be the same people we saw in D’avin’s vision with ‘Dutch’ and Khylen. My intuition tells me that they may be behind the war and why the 9 and Khylen are trying to prepare for the worst case scenarios and are honestly quite afraid for the future of the Quad.

    3) This is an aftereffect of D’avin controlling the green elixir when he destroyed the asteroid ship. Somehow the green stuff has connected with his internal physiology via a psychic link. The green goo is both powerful and deadly. He shouldn’t have sex anymore because he killed her when they exchanged bodily fluids.
